Since a traumatic experience in her childhood in which both parents were killed, Jeanette Fielmann has been treated in a psychiatric institution. The lifestyle of the spoiled teenagers irritates Jeanette. However, with her tolerant and youthful nature she tries to win their sympathy. The eldest son Leon flirts violently with her and she soon succumbs to his charm. But something is wrong with this deceptive idyll and Jeanette makes frightening observations in her surroundings. Everything points to her own past and over time she fears that she has not yet processed her experience. When murders finally happen after a while, Jeanette is certain that her past has finally caught up with her.

criticism
prisma-online said: “The German attempt to copy well-known American horror patterns, as they have proven themselves in films like 'Scream', only works to a limited extent. Because the problem with such a plot is that hardly anything can surprise you. Since the implementation of the overconstructed story is not exactly the right thing to do, you can safely forget this work. "
The lexicon of international films also noted that it was "a failed attempt by a German horror film to reduce the genre to a listlessly staged series of acts of violence."
Cinema.de thinks it is "(T) he little sister of Scream."
Awards
Simone Hanselmann and Valerie Niehaus were nominated for the New Faces Award in 2000 for the best young actresses .
