Life

Allegra Curtis is a daughter of US actor Tony Curtis and Austrian-born actress Christine Kaufmann , as is her sister Alexandra (* 1964), who is two years older. She is the half-sister of Jamie Lee Curtis and Kelly Curtis from Tony Curtis 'marriage to Janet Leigh, and of Nicholas Curtis and Benjamin Curtis from Tony Curtis' marriage to model Leslie Allen. Her godfather was Roger Moore .

After their parents' divorce in 1967, the two children lived alternately with their mother in Germany and with their father in the USA. In 1972 Tony Curtis did not let his daughters Alexandra and Allegra return to Germany after a visit to London, but took them with him to the USA. This was seen as a “kidnapping”, especially in the German press; however, Curtis obtained sole custody of the children in the United States.

After Tony Curtis' death in 2010, his children fought unsuccessfully over the estate with his last wife. Allegra Curtis has a son.

In November 2017, she announced in an interview that she would be leaving Germany and moving to Los Angeles with her son to work as an editor and make-up artist.
