Lommbock is a German comedy film from 2017 by Christian Zübert . The film is a successor to the 2001 film Lammbock - Alles in Handarbeit and is again starring Lucas Gregorowicz and Moritz Bleibtreu in the leading roles. It opened in theaters on March 23, 2017.

The film is set 15 years after the events of Lammbock - All handcrafted . Stefan, who actually wanted to open a beach bar in the Caribbean, has now made a career as a lawyer and is about to marry the businesswoman Yasemin in Dubai . All he needs is his birth certificate , which he has to pick up in Germany.
The supposedly short trip back home is extended after Stefan meets his old friend Kai, with whom he used to run the cannabis pizza delivery service “Lammbock”. The latter has now renamed the delivery service to an Asia delivery service called "Lommbock" (after the Indonesian island of Lombok ). Now that the two of them smoke a joint together , they return to a long-forgotten path. Kai's marriage seems to be falling apart. His son Jonathan is in puberty and is now a big deal in marijuana . Back in Dubai, Stefan is supposed to do the planned drug test . With the help of Kai, he manages to manipulate the urine test with a Screeny Weeny (a water-permeable penis dummy connected to a water dispenser bag). Shortly before the wedding, Stefan confesses to Yasemin that he slept with his ex-girlfriend Jenny, whereupon she hits him and leaves. The film ends with Stefan and Kai trying to smoke a joint in the toilet at Dubai Airport while outsmarting the smoke alarms .

Filming began on July 5, 2016 in Würzburg and the surrounding area, where it lasted until August 18, 2016. In an online competition entitled Bock auf Lommbock , 25 extras and two candidates with special roles were selected for the film. The entrance to Kai's apartment was shot on Landwehrstrasse, and the cult restaurant in the background really exists there. Jenny's unbearable date was filmed in the Enchilada restaurant on Karmelitenstrasse, and Würzburg town hall was used as the location. The meeting with Dar Salim takes place in the Heuchelhof district, the scene with his daughter takes place in Grombühl . Kai's son picks up his weed delivery in Dencklerblock in the Zellerau district and tries to sell it in the Odeon (a bar ( Odeon Lounge ) at Augustinerstraße 18 that emerged from a café, cabaret or theater and cinema ). The parts of the film set in Volkach were shot on the local sports field.
After it was initially planned to partially shoot the film directly at the location in Dubai , the scenes that played there were shot in Morocco instead . This was due to the United Arab Emirates ' strict drug laws , which prohibit making a film about drug use. The Marrakech-Menara airport served as the backdrop for the arrival in Dubai. Other scenes were recorded in Cologne , for example the arrival at Cologne / Bonn Airport and the first meeting of Kai and Stefan at Cologne Airport Train Station .
