Marcus Morlinghaus (born July 30, 1965 in Bensheim ) is a German actor, author and director. He lives and works in Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland.

Morlinghaus studied acting at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and directing with Willi Bernhart.

In 1989 he made his debut at the Staatstheater Stuttgart and has since worked as an actor at various theaters (including the Theater der Jugend in Vienna, Fritz Rémond Theater in Frankfurt am Main, Akademietheater and Metropoltheater in Munich) as well as in film and TV. In 2001 he took on the leading role in Leander Haußmann's Munich production of Marivaux ' Streit . In 2005 he played the male lead in the German premiere of Gabriel Baryllis Ohio? - How so?! in the author's staging. Morlinghaus also played in the international ensemble Theatermerz from 1993 to 2000 .
