Jean-François Sivadier

Jean-François Sivadier (born July 11, 1963 ) is a French actor , writer and opera and theater director .

Life

Sivadier trained at the Center théâtral du Maine and then studied drama at the Théâtre national de Strasbourg . At the side of Didier Georges Gabily he played with him in his plays and took over his first direction with the double play Dom Juan / Chimère et autres Bestioles in 1996. In the same year he was the director of Italienne avec orchester, then Italienne scène et orchester . In 2003 he received the Grand Prix du Syndicat de la Critique for this. He has been a regular director at the Opéra de Lille since 2004 : in 2004 he staged the first play there with Madame Butterfly and at the beginning of the 2006/2007 season he staged Italienne avec orchester .
