occupation

Was ist was TV (own spelling: WAS IST WAS TV ) was a TV show based on the children's and youth non-fiction series Was ist was. As early as 1983 to 1984 there was a television program for the book series on First German Television with the title “Was ist Was”.

General

The program, which was broadcast in the first program from 1983 to 1984, was 20 minutes long and was moderated by Heinz Haber .

The 52 episodes produced from 2001 to 2009 dealt with a factual topic in a simple, child-friendly form in 30 minutes. The information was explained together with images and then commented on by the three “ moderators ”, the computer-animated characters Theo , the blue question mark , Tess , the red exclamation mark , and Quentin , the yellow dot . The audience could ask questions from the fields of nature , animals , science and technology , for example about airplanes , cars or house building . The questions were then investigated. Questions could be sent in by post , fax , SMS or email . The films were spoken by Crock Krumbiegel .

The first season was broadcast on Super RTL from 2001 to 2003 . From April 2009 the series was broadcast on the children's channel Nicktoons and from 2010 on Junior .
