Heinz-Josef "Dscharli" Braun (born December 31, 1957 in Munich ) is a German musician , actor and cabaret artist . He is married to the actress Johanna Bittenbinder , with whom he can be seen in several feature films.

Life

Heinz-Josef Braun studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich from 1979 to 1984 and worked as a guitarist and bassist in various Munich bands. From 1983 to 1999 he was the bass player in the Haindling group .

Since 1985 Braun has also worked as a film, television and theater actor. In 1996 he staged his first cabaret program, Heinz remains Heinz , followed in 2000 by the solo program 3000Heinz und Heinz & die Frauen (2004).
