Josef Wierer

Josef Wierer (born October 31, 1930 in Wörth an der Donau ; † April 22, 2016 in Nittenau ) was a German actor .

Life

Josef "Sepp" Wierer learned the mason trade after attending school before he switched to the police as a late applicant in 1965. After serving with the riot police in Würzburg, he was employed at the Wörth police station. In 1990 Wierer retired and ended his civil service career as police chief .

His acting talent developed in childhood; In 1975 he was one of the founding members of the Kolping Theater in Wörth an der Donau , where he was one of the actors on the stage for 30 years among amateur actors . In 1985 he was discovered by film director and screenwriter Jo Baier and hired as an actor for the film Schiefweg . In the years that followed, Jo Baier made further engagements, initially in socially critical homeland films, later in crime films, played in the Bavarian provinces.
