Erich Virch

Erich Virch (* 1950 in Hessen ) is a German copywriter, musician , producer and writer .

life and work

From 1974 to 1976 Erich Virch, who was studying art at the time, was a member of the trio Kuretitsch, Lassahn and Virch . He then worked as a satire writer for television productions and as a copywriter and composer for other artists. Virch composed and wrote a. a. for Wolfgang Petry , Karat , Klaus Lage , die Klostertaler , Die Zillertaler and the comedians Kalle Pohl and Dieter Hallervorden . He also wrote and directed cabaret programs for Stephan Wald , Kalle Pohl, Ingolf Lück and Hans-Werner Olm .

Virch released albums under his own name in 1979, 1980, 1990 and 2009.

Since 2004 he has written three crime novels as Egon Olsen . In 2010 his tabloid comedy Because they do not know what they inherit ( the heiress ) premiered, in 2017 his tabloid comedy The Fathers of the Bride ( Demigod in Need ).
