Sebastian Deyle (born November 26, 1977 in Bad Friedrichshall ) is a German actor , presenter , musician and entrepreneur .

Life

Sebastian Deyle was born as the son of the conductor Walter Deyle and a teacher in Bad Friedrichshall . He started playing the piano at an early age and received classical piano training from the American concert pianist Martha Bartles in Stuttgart during his elementary and high school years .

He attended the Albert-Schweitzer-Gymnasium in Neckarsulm and then graduated from high school in 1998 at the Gustav-von-Schmoller-Schule in Heilbronn . Even during his school days he was active as an actor in the RTL series Unter Uns . After three months of community service , Deyle was officially released from work in Munich . For almost four years he played the role of Nik Schubert in the ARD pre-evening series Marienhof .

With the single Melody of Life he reached the top 50 of the German charts in autumn 2000. A few months later, the album Songs from the Night Before was released , to which the American singer Joshua Kadison contributed songs.

In summer 2001 Deyle took over the moderation of the celebrity advice show Quizfire in the afternoon program of Sat.1 . Also in 2001, Deyle and Nova Meierhenrich hosted the Popkomm gala live from the Kölnarena and the New Year's gala at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin . In 2002 Deyle hosted both shows again. In 2003 Sebastian Deyle made the ProSieben film Wilde Jungs , for which he also sang the title song.

In 2004 Deyle switched back to ARD and replaced Max Schautzer there as the host of the show Every Sunday . In the same year Deyle hosted the primetime show Für dich tu ich alles in ARD . The reception in the media was negative. The media portalquotemeter.de spoke of one of “the most embarrassing moments in the history of public television”. The show was canceled after 6 episodes.

At the end of the year Deyle hosted the Best of Musical gala for WDR in the Kölnarena .

At the end of 2005 Deyle returned to the screen in the role of Maxim Klinker-Emden in the telenovela Storm of Love . After a year he left the series and moved to Berlin. In the fall of 2011 he was again in front of the camera in this role. In 2007 Deyle made the ZDF television film In the Valley of the Wild Roses and founded the film production company Goodstuff-Pictures. From November 2009 to February 2010 (episode 166–227) he was seen as Oliver Woiter in the ZDF telenovela Alisa - Follow your heart .

In 2011 he took part in the casting show The Voice of Germany , but failed in the "blind auditions".

In the celebrity boxing of Sat.1 on March 8, 2013, he lost to Mola Adebisi in the first round.

After two and a half years of relationship with Sandra Naujoks , Deyle had been in a relationship with Germany's Next Top Model Finalist Rebecca Mir since 2011 . The relationship ended in April 2012.

Sebastian Deyle is actively involved in the fight against blood cancer . He worked on a cookie book for the benefit of the DKMS (German bone marrow donor database) and is registered there himself as a stem cell donor. In 2014 he supported the animal welfare organization Vier Pfoten . Together with the Brüll campaign for more humanity for animals, they advocate a ban on wild animals in German circuses.

In 2016, Sebastian Deyle founded Goodstuff-Media GmbH based in Berlin, a start-up company that offers virtual reality content in the fields of music and entertainment. He is the managing partner and main shareholder of Goodstuff-Media GmbH.

At the end of 2017, Sebastian Deyle was back in front of the camera as an actor in the web series Offscreen, produced by ZDF for funk , alongside Sila Sahin .
