Konrad Stöckel
Konrad Stöckel (born June 7, 1978 in Hamburg ), also known by his alter ego Fat King Konrad , is a German comedian , presenter , magician and entertainer .
Life
A magic box aroused his interest in 1991, and just a year later the 13-year-old had a guest appearance at the Schmidt Theater in Hamburg. But in order to develop a truly unique performance, he was helped by a book about showmen , freaks and sensational artists, which he received from one of his teachers for his 16th birthday. From now on he combined bizarre effects and realities with comedy and trick technology.
In 1996 he became illusions comedy to German youth master of magic in the category chosen and set in the same year with his art independently . In 1995 he received the “Ken Brooke” honor award from the Magischer Zirkel Berlin and Ted Lesley for the most popular performance.
This was followed by numerous appearances in the Quatsch Comedy Club and on the Nightwash show, as well as several Guinness records ( sticking clothespins in your face and breaking stones on your head ). In 2003 Konrad Stöckel received the “Comedy Hot Shot” from ProSieben for his stage performances . His own television show, the “ Konrad Stöckel Show ”, was broadcast on ProSieben a year later. In 2005 he toured Germany with his show and made guest appearances in numerous cities and television shows such as Genial Daneben , Clever , Chart Show, Pisa Show, Quatsch Comedy Club and NightWash . In 2008 he performed at the Arosa Humor Festival . At the end of 2010 he toured Asia with a focus on China as part of the Blitzfilm Festival .
In 2012 he went on tour with the Weltwunder - The Knowledge Show program . A year later, in 2013, his first solo program Happy End followed - the Fat King Show. In the same year the book How to turn off the light with AC / DC is published about his craziest scientific experiences and curiosities from the wild world of knowledge. A little later, audiences in selected theaters in Germany can enjoy the evening program of the same name. Since 2017 he has been presenting Luke Mockridge's quiz show Luke! The school and I do chemical and physical experiments in a humorous way.
Konrad Stöckel is currently on tour with his program When it stinks and cracks, science is on tour across Germany.
Konrad Stöckel lives in Hamburg and also participates in exhibitions of bizarre objects.
He has been socially committed for years in the form of appearances, for example for Russian street children, for the Diakonie Hamburg, Hamburg Leuchtfeuer or the NOMI amusement park in Norderstedt .
