Kevin and Manuel is a German hit duo , consisting of the two singers Valentin Ponkratz (Kevin, born February 10, 1996 ) and Martin Piendl (Manuel).
Life
As children, Ponkratz and Piendl were both members of the Regensburger Domspatzen . In August 2014, it was originally brought as Kevin and Manuel in the show every Sunday of the ARD , where she eventually titled Midnight in Corsica were elected to the summer hit parade winners. Günther Behrle was the producer of the song . Behrle chose the names Kevin and Manuel because of a visual similarity to Kevin Großkreutz and Manuel Neuer . In 2016 the duo's second album, Papa Francesco, was released .
The two became known to a wider audience through a game on the program Circus HalliGalli (season 7, episode 5), where the aim was to complete rhymes from the songs; the duo appeared on the show a week later.
