Richard Rogler
Richard Rogler (born September 19, 1949 in Selb ) is a German cabaret artist . He lives in Cologne's Agnesviertel .
Career
Rogler grew up in Selb and, after graduating from high school and doing basic military service, first studied French and sports for teaching at the University of Würzburg . From 1974 to 1978 he was a member of the children's and youth theater group Ömmes & Oimel , initially in Würzburg , and since 1977 in Cologne. Appearances with Heinrich Pachl in the cabaret duo "Der Wahre Anton" followed . In the mid-1980s, Rogler also received an engagement at the Cologne Schauspielhaus . He has been a soloist since 1986.
Rogler received the German Cabaret Prize in 1982 (together with Heinrich Pachl), 1987 and 1992 , the German Cabaret Prize in 2000 and the Telestar in 1987 and the Adolf Grimme Prize in 1989 for his appearances and moderation on television . In 1997 he was awarded the Morenhovener Lupe . Since 2000, Rogler has held lectures as an honorary professor at the University of the Arts in Berlin , making him the first professor of cabaret in Germany.
Richard Rogler became known nationwide through regular guest appearances on the German television program Scheibenwischer and numerous other radio and television appearances ( Nachschlag , Roglers Rasendes Kabarett ). In WDR -Television he hosted from 1988 to 1991, the cabaret show Mitternachtsspitzen . From 2004 to November 2007 he hosted the SR social evening six times a year . In the Lindenstraße he was also in 1987 and 1998 as fraudulent brokers to see Panowski.
On June 29, 2006, Rogler took the place of cabaret artist Georg Schramm as a permanent member of the windshield wiper ensemble after Schramm had left the windshield wiper at his own request. On February 11, 2008, the rbb announced that Rogler was leaving the windshield wiper because he wanted to concentrate more on his stage appearances. In December 2008 he had an appearance at the 17th Arosa Humor Festival . Rogler was a regular guest in the program "Stratmanns - Jupps Kneipentheater im Pott", moderated by Ludger Stratmann and broadcast on WDR.
