Heinrich Pachl (born October 12, 1943 in Nordrach ; † April 21, 2012 in Cologne ) was a German cabaret artist , actor , author and filmmaker .
Life
Together with Jochen Fischer and Christian Maiwurm, he took up topics such as squatting and environmental scandals from 1975 to 1981 with the video-produced Cologne weekly newsreel . He also denounced the Cologne clique . He began his cabaret career with political and street theater before he was also seen in television films ( Südstadt in Aspik , homo blech , Ben Ruhr , Der Medienfreak , Geld und Gute Wort as documentary films ). In 2007 he took part in the two-part television series Teufelsbraten , and in 2009 he was also seen on the big screen in Unter Bauern . He supported his friend Günter Wallraff in several projects by taking on roles in his covert "missions". Among other things, he played a recruiter for the research on Wallraff's book Entire Below , who is looking for workers for dangerous maintenance work in nuclear power plants.
Pachl was one of the founders of the working group literature in the world of work . In 1987 he became a co-founder and partner of the Pantheon Theater in Bonn. From the 1990s he published a total of four plays. At the Kölner Schauspiel he also took on several assignments as a director ( Die Einheitser ; Talk Radio ).
Pachl became known as a cabaret artist in the 1970s with the formation of The True Anton . Later he preferred joint appearances with Richard Rogler (1979–1982), Rainer Pause (1982–1985), Matthias Beltz (1986–1989) and Arnulf Rating (1991–1993). Pachl was also a member of the legendary cabaret group Reichspolterabend , which also included Matthias Beltz, Achim Konejung , Arnulf Rating and Horst Schroth . From 1994 Pachl performed mostly solo. His program Das überleben wir premiered in March 2011.
He died in his house in Cologne-Nippes after a stent was placed on him that morning . He had outlived the survival prognosis of the cancer he had known for ten years by a good five years. He continued his active life until the end, only having to cancel an appearance in March 2012. His grave is in the Melaten cemetery in Cologne .
