from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Nestroy Awards 2017 was the 18th awarding of the Nestroy Theater Prize and took place on November 13, 2017 at the Ronacher in Vienna . Nikolaus Habjan , Manuela Linshalm and Regina Fritsch were originally intended to be the presenters of the award ceremony , while Karin Bergmann , Michael Niavarani and Peter Fässlacher ( ORF III ) actually moderated , as the originally planned concept for the evening could not be implemented in the time available . The winners of three categories ( Lifetime Achievement , Best Equipment and Best Piece - Author's Award ) were announced in advance on October 2, 2017 at the same time as the nominations.
