Lina Beckmann

Lina Beckmann (born April 21, 1981 in Hagen ) is a German actress who plays primarily on theater stages, but can also be seen in film and TV productions. In 2011 she was selected by a jury of the trade magazine Theater heute for Actress of the Year chosen. Lina Beckmann is a member of the Free Academy of Arts in Hamburg .

Life

Lina Beckmann completed her training from 2001 to 2004 on the Acting Course in Bochum at the Folkwang University in Essen (former drama school in Bochum ). In the meantime, she was already doing guest engagements at the Schauspielhaus Bochum and the independent Prinzregenttheater . After another guest appearance at the Wuppertaler Bühnen , she moved to the Schauspielhaus Zürich in 2005 , where she worked with directors David Bösch , Alvis Hermanis and Wilfried Minks , among others . In the same year she received the solo prize of the national competition for the promotion of young actors.

From 2007 to 2013 Lina Beckmann was a permanent member of the Schauspiel Köln ensemble ; since 2013 she has been engaged at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg . She was invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen with several productions by the Schauspiel Köln, for example in 2010 with a production of Ödön von Horváth's folk play Kasimir und Karoline (role: Erna) and a stage version of the Scola film The Dirty, the Ugly and the Common . In 2011 she made her debut at the Salzburg Festival in the role of Good Works in Jedermann . In 2017 she was seen again at the Festival in a production by Karin Henkel ( Rose Bernd von Gerhart Hauptmann ).

Lina Beckmann has also worked in various cinema productions since 2008. In the feature film The Visitor the director Lola Randl , in the German-French co-production Saviors - Saviors in the Night and in the novel adaptation Resturlaub of Gregor Schnitzler she played supporting roles in each case. In 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2018 she was seen in Tatort episodes.

Lina Beckmann is married to the actor Charly Hübner , has a son and lives in Hamburg.
