Lola Randl
Lola Randl (* 1980 in Munich ) is a German film director , screenwriter and writer .
Live and act
Lola Randl studied from 2001 to 2006 at the Art Academy for Media in Cologne and graduated from the script workshop in Munich in 2007 . During her training she made her first short films , some of them award-winning .
She made her feature film debut in 2008 with the film The Visitor , which premiered at the Berlinale . Von Bienen und Blumen (DE 2018) had its world premiere in the series “Neues Deutsches Kino” in July 2018 at the Munich Film Festival . The bizarre documentary is playful about experimental village life in the Brandenburg Uckermark . In 2019 her first novel, The Great Garden , was published, which made it onto the long list of the German Book Prize .
