Rainer Egger (* 1960 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian actor .

Life

Rainer Egger made his film debut in 1982 in the television film Phönix an der Ecke by director Peter Patzak , in which he also played his first leading role. He had also starred, among others in 1986 in the movie Paradise Ges.mbH of Nicholas Leytner and 1989 Shalom, General of Andreas Gruber , for which he with the 1990 prize of the SZ readers jury as part of the Max Ophüls Prize Film Festival was awarded. Other important roles he played in 1993 in the movie Half the world by Florian Flicker and 1994 in Hasenjagd - Out of sheer cowardice there is no mercy, where he played the role of Fredl Karner.
