Gerry Moro

Gerry Moro (actually Guerrino Moro; born April 17, 1943 in San Martino al Tagliamento , Italy ) is a former Canadian pole vaulter and decathlete .

In 1962 he was fourth in the pole vault at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth .

At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he was tenth in the pole vault and came in 16th place in the decathlon .

In 1966 he won bronze in the pole vault and in the decathlon at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston .

At the decathlon of the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, he gave up after six disciplines.

He was Canadian champion in pole vault three times (1964, 1966, 1968) and twice in decathlon (1965, 1972).
