The mother and wife Trixi Jancik, played by Christiane Hörbiger , leads a double life. At home she is the calm and frugal wife, but when she puts on the black wig, she pursues her passion for betting on the racetrack. Here she gambled away the household money and dreams of a better life.

A normal argument at home escalates the situation and Trixi mixes her husband's deadly medication in a cocktail. Now she is enjoying her freedom, but the money will soon run out. A rich acquaintance from the Internet brings salvation, but everything will soon be back to normal. Trixi reaches for the medicine bottle again. But soon her former neighbor Karli reports, played by Peter Faerber , who has found out about her and wants a share.
