Tanja Petrovsky

Tanja Maria Petrovsky (* 1978 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Tanja Petrovsky grew up in Brussels , Belgrade and Paris until she returned to her native Vienna at the age of 15, where she attended grammar school. At the age of 17 she discovered a booker as a model . Shortly thereafter, she took part in the Look of the Year modeling competition, where she came second. She then signed the Viva Models agency . Petrovsky has worked in Paris, London and Berlin , among others, and has contributed to music videos and commercials . She started acting training at The Method Studio in London in 1998 . In the same year she was engaged as an actress for the film Models by director Ulrich Seidl . Further roles in film and television productions followed. From 1999 to 2003 she learned acting at the Franz Schubert Conservatory in Vienna and attended other acting workshops. She also began to appear at the theater, for example at the Volkstheater and at the Reichenau Festival . Petrovsky also moderated the Superfly Lounge on the radio station 98.3 superfly from 2008 to 2010 . In 2011 she directed the band Tyler's music video The Future .

Petrovsky is a member of the Academy of Austrian Films .
