Jan Niklas

Jan Niklas Kupferroth , also Yan Nicklas , (born October 15, 1947 in Munich ) is a German actor .

Life

Niklas attended boarding school in England and then took acting lessons in London. He then returned to Germany and attended the Max Reinhardt School for Drama in Berlin for three years .

Niklas, also known as Yan Nicklas , gained fame through international period films. He played the title role in the 1986 American multi-part series Peter the Great, directed by Marvin J. Chomsky . He regularly appeared in international English-language productions, but also appeared on German television.

Niklas is married and has one son.
