Marvin J. Chomsky

Marvin J. Chomsky (born May 23, 1929 in New York City ) is an American film director and film producer .

Chomsky began his career in 1955 as an art director ( equipment manager ) and set decorator ( decorator ), including in the Western series Gunsmoke , before settling on the 1962 Director focused -Perform.

Initially, he directed various television series including Spaceship Enterprise , Kobra, Take Over , Mannix and Smoking Colts .

From the 1970s he directed various well-known mini-series and feature films .

Chomsky was nominated nine times for the Emmy , four times he received the "TV Oscar" for Holocaust , Attica , Inside The Third Reich and Peter the Great .

Chomsky has not been active since 1995.

Marvin J. Chomsky is a cousin of the American linguist Noam Chomsky .
