Inside the Third Reich is a multi-part American television film from 1982 based on the autobiography Memoirs by Albert Speer . It was first broadcast on the US television station ABC .

Albert Speer as a defendant in Nuremberg, 1945 or 1946

The film deviates from Speer's book in important ways - mainly in how Speer himself perceived the crimes of the National Socialists. Speer makes no mention of the growing persecution of Jews during the 1930s in his memoirs - but the film does address it. The film shows Speer's lack of reaction to the November pogroms of November 9th to 10th, 1938, although Speer never spoke of the “Reichskristallnacht” in his remarks.
