Regensburg Short Film Week

The International Short Film Week Regensburg is a nonprofit short film festival and takes place annually in mid-March. Since it was first held in 1994, it has now established itself as one of the most important short film festivals in Germany and a meeting point for the European short film scene. It is organized by the Arbeitskreis Film Regensburg eV In four cinemas , more than 7,000 visitors see the latest productions from the region, Germany and abroad in various competitions as well as - in a variety of special programs - film series with country and thematic focuses , Retrospective shows by directors and film schools , programs for children and pupils or presentations from other short film festivals.
