Short film festival
A short film festival is a film festival at which the films shown may not exceed a maximum duration. This is determined differently by the organizers, but is never more than an hour , very often 30 minutes and in many cases significantly less than one minute . In addition, many film festivals that do not specialize exclusively in short films have their own competitions for short films.
Oberhausen, Tampere and Clermont-Ferrand
The Oberhausen International Short Film Festival in Germany , the Tampere International Short Film Festival in Finland and the Festival du Court-Métrage de Clermont-Ferrand in France are considered to be important international short film festivals. Oberhausen, which is published as the oldest short film festival in the world, and Tampere are the only pure short film festivals accredited by the international film producers association FIAPF .
