Actor of the year
The titles Actor of the Year and Actress of the Year are awarded by Theater heute magazine to actors in German-speaking theaters . It determines the candidates within its annual survey of several dozen theater critics based on the highlights of the past theater year. Men and women are judged separately; In the event of a tie between the sexes, the title is awarded several times.
