Gundi Ellert
Gundi Ellert (born September 8, 1951 in Lengenfeld ) is a German actress , director and author .
Life
Gundi Ellert grew up with five sisters in the small village of Lengenfeld near Velburg and attended drama school in Munich . After completing her training, she was hired in 1977 for the Bavarian State Theater and the Münchner Kammerspiele , where she appears again today after a long break (1986–2001). She also worked at the Schauspielhaus in Munich, at the Salzburg Festival , at the theater in Basel (1980–1993), at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg (1993–2000) and at the Berlin Schaubühne. The versatile actress worked u. a. in productions of Schiller's Wilhelm Tell , Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream , Wedekind's Music and Molière's Don Juan . In 1994 she was named "Actress of the Year" by the magazine Theater heute for her role in Wolken.Heim . Ellert also wrote a few plays himself, including a. Lena's sister , for whom she was awarded the BDI's literary prize in 1990.
In addition to her numerous theater engagements, Ellert was also repeatedly present in film and television. She played her first television role in 1980 in City Directorate . As a result, she took part in numerous well-known TV series, including Monaco Franze - The Eternal Stenz, The Fast Gerdi , The Bull von Tölz , The Semmeling Affair and The Caretaker . Ellert worked a. a. with Helmut Fischer , Werner Asam , Gerd Anthoff , Ilse Neubauer and Franziska Stömmer . In 1993 she played Schiermoserin in Franz Xaver Bogner's Madame Bäurin , and in 1995 she played the leading role in Imo Moszkowicz's Über Kreuz . Since 2004 she can be seen as "Rosie" in the crime series Franziska Luginsland with Katja Flint .
Gundi Ellert lives alternately in Germany and Italy . In 2004 she opened a fashion store in the “ Fünf Höfe ” in Munich. She is married to Frank Baumbauer , the former director of the Münchner Kammerspiele.
