action

On Christine's 39th birthday, her husband Bernd announced, after more than ten years of marriage, that he had “fallen out” and wanted to separate from her. Christine moves in with her parents with emergency luggage and a dog. Father Heinz has little understanding and dismisses it all as a minor crisis. At the same time, Heinz suffers from the diet that his wife Charlotte gave him. Christine gratefully accepts the offer of her friend Doro to move into her flat share with the homosexual lawyer Dennis in Hamburg. Christine is dismayed by the chance discovery that her best friend Antje has had a relationship with Bernd for years. When she meets Dennis' colleague Richard, she falls in love with him. Slowly she begins to become more confident and a new person.

The discovery of hidden sweets and sausages causes Charlotte to leave her husband. Her move into the shared apartment is not only met with enthusiasm from her flatmates due to her cleaning frenzy. However, the fact that Richard has a wife in Bremen suddenly brings Christine back down to earth. Heinz's efforts to reconcile his daughter and son-in-law seem to be bearing fruit. Bernd shines with his attentiveness, willingness to reconcile and courtesy towards Christine. This all comes from the fact that Antje kicked Bernd out, as Christine learns from her sponsored child Finja, Antje's oldest daughter. Now even Heinz turns away from his son-in-law. Finally, Heinz and Charlotte and Christine make up their dearest wish for a cruise .

Reviews

Tilmann P. Gangloff from tittelbach.tv draws the following verdict on this film: “Despite weak dramaturgy and gay clichés, a relatively enjoyable pastime (the day before yesterday) for the inclined viewer thanks to Hamel's joy in playing. By far the best thing about this film are the songs on the soundtrack! "

At Kino.de , the critics rated: “After the thoroughly successful broadcasts of the Dora Heldt adaptations' Urlaub mit Papa ',' Aante Inge haut ab 'and' Kein Wort zu Papa 'came out in autumn 2012 with' When it's hot it is at least not cold 'and' beloved 'two more novels by the bestselling author. However, Mark von Seydlitz 'TV comedy' Beloved '[...] was criticized as predictable, old-fashioned and only very conditionally funny - provided you can't throw yourself out over a constantly farting dog and gay clichés. "

Kristin Lenk, critic at rtv.de only said: "Embarrassing gags, badly played"

Also TV movie is the worst possible rating (thumbs down) and wrote: 'Without love' was the first novel of the bestselling author Dora Heldt. Her encouragement books mostly address women over forty. This ZDF film adaptation serves its audience with a good look, sometimes surprisingly flat humor and characters from the cliché cupboard. Less risk, more quota, that's the calculation. Conclusion: "Wellness television, shallow to annoying."
