Markus Majowski (born April 29, 1964 in West Berlin ) is a German actor and comedian .

life and career

The son of a cellist with the Berliner Philharmoniker graduated from Else Bongers' drama school in Berlin from 1983 to 1987 , where he made his theater debut. At the same time he made a vocal training.

Theater and television

Following an engagement at the Franconian-Swabian City Theater (today the Landestheater Dinkelsbühl ), Majowski returned to Berlin in 1989, where he played constantly in the comedy, the Theater am Kurfürstendamm and the Renaissance Theater . He was also a permanent member of the ensemble at magazin, Martin Wölffer's off-theater stage , for five years . After appearing in three episodes at the Black Forest Clinic , Majowski has been active in film and television since 1988.

This was followed by roles in the comic field, be it on television ( Hellish Neighbors ) or in films ( 7 Dwarfs ), but also tragic ( Die Rote Meile ) or serious roles (as assistant to Tatort Commissioner Brinkmann ). From 2002 to 2008 Majowski was in the Sat.1 - comedy series The comedy WG - The Dreisten Three to see. In summer 2013 and 2014 he played the role of “Volker” in Dieter Wedel's new production of the Nibelungen at the Nibelungen Festival (Born To Die) and (Born This Way) in Worms.

In 2015 he played at the Bad Hersfeld Festival in the comedy der Irrungen (production: also Dieter Wedel) and in Midsummer Night's Dreams . He directed the children's play The Owl . 2016 he returned for the resumption of Midsummer Night's dreams of Bad Hersfeld and assumed a major role in the credit of Jordi Galceran .

In January 2017 he participated in the 11th season of I'm a Star - Get Me Out of Here! part. After a treasure hunt, Majowski was, in his opinion, not released quickly enough and threatened with a criminal complaint . He spoke of assault and expected a public apology. Later he just wanted to have played the Ausraster. He came in tenth place.

In spring 2017 Majowski played the title role in the French comedy Die Nervensäge at the Comedy Frankfurt am Main. In the summer of 2017 Majowski returned to the Festival in Bad Hersfeld and took on a total of 20 roles (including Mr. Memory) in The 39 Steps by Alfred Hitchcock.

It only became a fixture for a wide audience through commercial television . From 1997 he played the friendly and humorous salesman T. Neumann in numerous spots for a total of ten years for Deutsche Telekom , who recommended "phones without a cord" either alone or with prominent partners such as Jan Ullrich , Rudi Carrell , Nina Hagen and Udo Lindenberg .

Majowski is also active in the field of party advertising; for the parliamentary elections in 1994, he joined a political advertisement of the PDS in 2009 he campaigned in a video for the team2009 the CDU , which he belongs.   • On July 17, 2003, a penalty order of 90 daily rates (9,000 euros in total) was issued against Majowski for throwing pebbles at children who had played a bell prank on him and injuring them slightly ("reddened skin").
  • The actor lives in Berlin with his son and wife. His nephew Alexander Schäfer also worked as an actor.
