The Red Mile is a German television series . It was produced for the Sat.1 broadcaster and shot at Bavaria Film GmbH in Munich . The series started on October 1, 1999. In 2000, the continuation of the series was broadcast on Sat.1 under the title “Club of Strong Women - The Red Mile” .
The focus of the series was on strippers , prostitutes and their pimps in the fictional Hamburg nightclub “Candy Club”. Nude scenes of pretty women and dramatic incidents with bad men characterize the individual episodes.
In 2007 the series was repeated in the program of the call-in channel 9Live .
