Gabrielle Odinis
Gabrielle Odinis , lit. Gabrielle Odinyte (born April 25, 1974 in Vilnius , Lithuanian SSR ) is a German actress of Lithuanian origin.
Life
Gabrielle Odinis was born in Lithuania, but at the age of two she emigrated with her family to Germany, where she grew up trilingual (Lithuanian, German, French).
After graduating from high school in Germany, she studied at the Vilnius State Conservatory in Lithuania. During her studies she was engaged in the lead role "Monika" in the Lithuanian film Mediniai laiptai (Wooden Staircase) by director Vidas Rasinskas . The film was shown at various film festivals in Germany. In 1994 she returned to Germany for the international movie Sunset Boys , in which she stood in front of the camera alongside the film legends Robert Mitchum and Erland Josephson .
She had her first appearances on German television in the WDR series Heinz Becker Family and the ARD production Der Fahnder in the prominent role of the Yugoslavian "Branka Mujanović".
The versatile actress embodied the manager's secretary “Alexa Hofer” in girl friends - friendship with heart , in the OSKAR award-winning German film Nirgendwo in Afrika , the otherwise accent-free German-speaking actress played the Russian maid “Klara” with a Russian accent. In 2003 she was a permanent member of Mensch Markus and played a variety of roles, from the erotic star to the housemaid. As a sexy blonde in 2004, she turned Atze Schröder's head in Alles Atze .
