Jessica Stockmann (born February 1, 1967 in Hamburg ) is a German actress , presenter and singer .

Life

Jessica Stockmann was born in Hamburg, but spent her childhood in London, Rotterdam and Athens. The family later moved back to Norderstedt near Hamburg. After graduating from high school, she began training in musicals and acting at the stage studio for the performing arts in Hamburg, which she completed in 1990. At the same time she studied business administration at the University of Hamburg , but dropped out after completing her intermediate diploma in order to devote herself entirely to acting. She was on stage in Hamburg, Berlin , Salzburg , Hanover, Braunschweig and at the Theater Dortmund and was also on tour in Germany. Stockmann appeared in series such as And bye! , Wildbach , Die Männer vom K3 , Tatort , Polizeiruf 110 and in the television film Holiday Affair . In 1999 and 2006 she had her picture taken for Playboy . From November 1999 to August 2000 she moderated the clip show talk talk talk on ProSieben . She ended this job because of the adoption of a daughter.

From 2008 to 2010 Jessica Stockmann wrote and sang socially critical children's songs together with the rapper "Big Sal" Markus Oergel, who died of cancer in 2011. In June 2013 she took part in the docu-soap Promi Shopping Queen together with Ingrid van Bergen , Bahar Kizil and Charlotte Karlinder , which she won. From November 2013 to January 2014 Jessica Stockmann celebrated her stage comeback in Hanover, Braunschweig and on tour in front of sold-out houses with the German premiere of "One man more is still too little".

Stockmann is a member of the board of trustees of the German AIDS Foundation and is committed to the international children's aid organization Plan International as well as to the orphanage Bal Vikas in Bombay , from which she adopted her daughter Nisha in 2000. In 2011 she was awarded the “Blue Heart” for her longstanding social commitment in Berlin.

Private

Stockmann was in a relationship with tennis player Michael Westphal for nine years until his death in 1991. From 1990 she lived in southern France and Hamburg. In 1992 she married Michael Stich . In 2000 they adopted a daughter together, separated a few months later and divorced in 2003. Stockmann lived in Fort Lauderdale (USA) in 2004/2005 , where she gave birth to a daughter whose father is Florian Haffa (brother of Thomas Haffa ). In 2006 she returned to southern France and Hamburg with her two daughters.
