Sylvia Leifheit (born December 3, 1975 in Friedrichroda ) is a German actress , entrepreneur and author .

Life

Sylvia Leifheit grew up in Gotha in the GDR. During her school days, she began speaking and singing training in the Gotha Children's Choir . At the same time she was a student at the Salzmann School in Schnepfenthal . After the reunification she moved with her parents to Nuremberg , where she passed her high school diploma.

In 1990 she won the title as part of the model contest Dream Girls from Germany of the magazine Pop / Rocky . Sylvia Leifheit was discovered by her former agent at a party in 1994. She soon took part in a casting for the ARD series Sterne des Südens and was hired in 1995 to play the role of animation student Katja.

In 1997 she became known to a larger audience as a student nurse Susanne in the ARD early evening series St. Angela . At the same time she began taking private acting lessons, which was followed by additional vocal training from 1999.

Leifheit achieved greater popularity in 1999/2000 through her double role as the wife of a State Secretary and at the same time as a mysterious stripper in the Sat.1 series Die Rote Meile . In the course of her further acting career, she was seen in leading and supporting roles in numerous television and cinema films (including alongside Kai Wiesinger in 14 days for life , Barylli's Baked Beans ). She also starred in the ZDF production Ums Paradies cheated and in episode roles in many other TV productions such as Der Ferienarzt and in three Rosamunde Pilcher films so far .

Leifheit founded the international model agency Most Wanted Models in 1997 and three other companies in the following years.

In 2001 she also became artistically active as a composer and songwriter and released her first single Meinkret in 2005 , Nur für Dich in 2006 and Christmas in 2007 in the Schlager category . She sang the title track for the movie Barylli's Baked Beans , a cover version of the song Que Sera, Sera by Doris Day . The single was released on iTunes in March 2012 .

In 2005, Leifheit was hired by the MDR for her first television presentation of the Golden Henne gala in Friedrichstadt-Palast Berlin . Thereupon she was hired for the internet television station nexworld.tv . From 2010 to 2012 she acted as the presenter of her own series “Zeitgeister” , in which she presented physicists, frontier scientists, inventors and authors on frontier scientific topics.

In 2009 she and her sister Doreen Leifheit founded the Internet network Worldangels , a social network for holistic medicine , which she sold in 2012. In 2010 she founded Secondglam , an internet platform that specializes in the global trade of second-hand goods, which she sold in 2016.

Since April 4, 2005, Leifheit has been a business ambassador for her hometown Gotha. In 2007 it was immortalized in the City of Gotha's Golden Book . Since 2009 she has been an ambassador for International Children Help eV There she is particularly committed to helping children with malformations all over the world.

Leifheit has been married to the Austrian director, author and actor Gabriel Barylli since 2008 . Leifheit emigrated from Germany in 2009.

In April 2012 her first book, Das 1x1 des Seins, was published by Trinity-Verlag. Since then she has published more books on mind-expanding topics internationally every year.

In August 2019, she took part in the 7th season of Celebrity Big Brother .

For the September 2019 edition, she posed as a Playboy cover girl.
