useful information

  • Friedel Schümann was the only actress who was in the main cast of the series from start to finish. She embodied the nice and good-natured but also strict and fair head nurse Irene.
  • St. Angela first ran on Mondays at 6:50 p.m. in 48-minute episodes, then, after the format change in 2001, from Tuesday to Friday at 6:54 p.m., albeit 24 minutes each time, alternating with Berlin, Berlin and other ARD productions ( for example Star Catcher or Ina & Leo ).
