Brigitte Zeh (born May 15, 1975 in Ruit , Ostfildern , Baden-Württemberg ) is a German actress .

life and career

Zeh's love for dance was discovered in the context of early musical education and she got appearances at the Stuttgart State Theater and at the John Cranko School . After graduating from high school, she completed her acting training at the University of the Arts , Berlin, between 1996 and 2001 . During her studies she stood in front of the camera for various television productions, including a. for the crime series Doppelter Einsatz and Die Cleveren , and played with friends in self-produced plays such as “ Die Globen” (1998) by author David Gieselmann, who was also studying scenic writing at the UdK.

After completing her studies, she worked for the first time in the ARD crime series Tatort , as the main episode role "Gret Weißtaschl" in the episode "The Swedish Friend" (2005), and after various episode roles in various crime scenes a. a. until 2011 the role of forensic doctor Sonja Römer in the Ludwigshafen crime scene. Brigitte Zeh is also on the theater stage. She made her debut in 1998 at the Berlin Maxim Gorki Theater in the play "Kalpak". Most recently she was seen in the title role of Elfriede Jelinek's "Nora" at the Malmö Stadsteater in Malmö , Sweden , and in another production as Titania in "En midsommarnattsdröm" (" A Midsummer Night's Dream ") 2014, both with director Anna Bergmann .

Due to her partner's work with international humanitarian aid organizations, she lived in various parts of the world for a long time. After the sudden death of her partner, Brigitte Zeh lives with their two children in Berlin .

In addition to her mother tongue German, she speaks fluent English, French and Swedish.
