action

Nora is 14 years old and at the beginning of puberty . At a party with friends of her parents, she stays aloof until the attractive actor Thomas suddenly appears. He is greeted cautiously by Nora's parents Uwe and Anette; Nora makes him dance with her, which her father Uwe dislikes. Thomas moved into the direct neighborhood of Nora's family. Nora now visits him more and more often, begins to put on make-up and put her hair up. The tensions between her parents - Anette is currently in her second degree, while Uwe's dream of successfully selling tailor-made kitchens seems to be slowly bursting - make Nora mentally take refuge in Thomas. She often watches him from her room.

Thomas' wife Ellen offers Nora to look after her young son from time to time. Nora reluctantly agrees and uses the time alone in Thomas' house to search his belongings. In the end, she lies down on the marriage bed in one of his shirts and tucks the shirt when Thomas surprisingly comes home early. She looks at photos with him, both drink alcohol and finally brotherhood. When she admits that she would like to be more beautiful, he compliments her. At home, Nora later builds a "Thomas shrine" in her closet with the stolen shirt. Uwe, who notices Nora's crush on Thomas, warns his daughter that there are people who chase girls. Nevertheless, one day Nora Thomas agrees to go to the lake with him and his son. Here Thomas von Nora takes pictures in a bikini. When he touches her, she flees from him into the water. Thomas downplays the situation. Uwe, Anette, their sister Isa and Nora are invited to a welcome dinner by Thomas' wife Ellen shortly afterwards. The situation is tense and Uwe and Thomas in particular can't stand each other. Nora pretends to go to the bathroom, but instead goes to Thomas' bedroom. Here she finds photos in a box showing Thomas and Anette together. Ellen discovers Nora shortly afterwards in the bedroom and throws her out. As there was a loud argument between Uwe and Thomas at the dinner table, the two families split up shortly afterwards. Uwe returns to Thomas late in the evening and tells him to keep his hands off Nora, but Thomas mocks him for his sick imagination.

Anette has meanwhile started an affair with her fellow student Daniel, but separates from him when he becomes too demanding and even wants to go on vacation with her. Uwe is at the end of his career because his partner has sold the joint kitchen company behind his back. He steals the contract, funds and a gun from the store, and Nora watches as he hides the gun at home. Nora seeks out Thomas and, when asked, he admits that he used to be with her mother. When she asked what would happen to her and him, he didn't answer and Nora ran away. In the evening, her parents give a party for friends. Uwe's partner appears and makes him return the contract documents to him. Surprisingly, the drunken Thomas also appears at the party. When Uwe is told to leave, he scorns and both men start a fight. Suddenly Nora stands in front of them with the loaded gun and shoots Thomas. Then she runs away and plunges into a pond. Uwe and Anette will look for them in vain until morning. Nora sleeps on the beach that night. The next morning she returns home. Her parents are sitting in the garden sunk in sorrow and do not notice her when she steps out onto the terrace.
