Lola Klamroth

Lola Klamroth (born September 14, 1991 ) is a German actress from Hamburg .

Life

Klamroth is one of three children from the relationship between camera assistant Katrin Klamroth and actor Peter Lohmeyer . Her older brother Louis Klamroth is also an actor. Her great aunt was Wibke Bruhns .

In 2004 she was on stage as Puck in Circus Roncalli in Midsummer Night's Dream , in 2007 she played at King's College Taunton in The Memory of Water by Shelagh Stephenson.

In 2007 she played the leading role in the German feature film Sooner or Later at the side of her father. The film was shown at the 60th Locarno Festival . The reviews of her feature film debut were positive; epd medien wrote: "Lola Klamroth plays this rigorous egoism of youth with such innocence, such great chastity that the inevitable crash takes on a tragic dimension [...] A wonderful, astonishing achievement." In 2008 Klamroth was named for the Undine Award as " Best film debutante ”and in 2010 nominated for the Günter Strack TV Prize as“ Best Young Actress ”.

In 2009 she worked in the youth club Backstage of the Junge Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. After graduating from high school in 2010, she studied drama at the Otto Falckenberg School from 2011 to 2012 and moved to the Berlin University of the Arts in 2013 .

In the 2017 film Death of a Kadettin , Lola Klamroth played the supporting role of Anja Kroll.
