epd medien is a German media magazine which has been published since 1949 and which is published by the community work of Protestant journalism . This includes program analyzes as well as articles and reports on the areas of television, radio, press and internet, media policy, personal details, the advertising market and media ethics . According to its own statements, the magazine is aimed at employees of broadcasting companies, TV production companies, specialist journalists, media politicians, media lawyers and scholars. Selected articles from epd medien are also published on the website.

history

The magazine appeared beginning in 1949 under the title epd / Kirche und Rundfunk . From 1997 it appeared twice a week under the title epd medien . At the turn of the year 2010/2011 there was a relaunch , since the magazine has been published once a week on a larger scale. Since then, an email newsletter has also appeared several times a week. Three full-time editors work for the magazine.
