Dieter Bach (born December 9, 1963 in Cologne ) is a German actor and singer .

Life

From 1986 to 1988, Bach completed an acting and singing course at the State Drama School in Saarbrücken . In 1996 he received a grant from the North Rhine-Westphalia Film Fund . He also worked as a freelance journalist for WDR in Cologne .

Theater engagements took him via the Renaissance Theater in Berlin , the Schauspielhaus Wien , the Schauspiel Köln , the Hamburger Kammerspiele and the Theater am Goetheplatz in Bremen to the Staatstheater Kassel , where he a. a. plays in Woyzeck and Cabaret and has been a member of the ensemble since the 2011/2012 season.

He became known through the hospital series St. Angela , which was broadcast in the evening program of Das Erste , and through the telenovela Verliebt in Berlin . In addition, he played numerous episode and supporting roles in other television productions. In 2015/16 he was Dr. Frederic Riefflin in the RTL series Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten .

Since July 2017 (episode 2729) he can be seen in the ARD telenovela Sturm der Liebe as Christoph Saalfeld .

On October 4, 2019, Bach released his first single Wo sind die Jahre hin .
