Claudia Vogt (born August 3, 1969 in Dresden ) is a German actress and filmmaker .

Life

Vogt studied acting at the Hanover University of Music and Drama . At the meeting of the German drama schools in Stuttgart, she was for her portrayal of 1995 Merteuil in the diploma production quartet of Heiner Müller excellent. In the same year, the quartet of Wolfgang Engel , then director of the Schauspiel Leipzig , was included in the program of the Neue Szene in Leipzig and performed in the 1995/1996 season. Engagements at various theaters followed, including the Schauspiel Leipzig, Staatstheater Kassel , Junge Theater Göttingen . From 2000 Vogt was seen regularly in television roles. She starred in films such as Cash Laughs , directed by Hajo Gies and in the series The Investigator , St. Angela , Butterfly in the Belly . In addition, she worked as a speaker in radio play and feature productions by the directors Ulrich Gerhardt , Barbara Plensat and Heike Tauch .

Vogt has been working as a filmmaker since 2015. In 2015 the short film search for traces was made . In 2016 she made the documentary The Golden Hour , which premiered in March 2017 at the Kant Kino Berlin. The film received invitations to film festivals in Switzerland, India, Albania, Israel, Costa Rica, Indonesia, the USA and Canada in 2017 and 2018. In Mumbai, India, Vogt received the award for the best cut .

Vogt has two children and lives in Berlin.
