Karim Koester

Karim Köster (born May 26, 1973 in Melle ) is a German actor .

Life

In his youth, Köster played theater at the Waldbühne Melle. After graduating from high school in 1993, Köster began his training the following year at the Hildburg Frese drama studio in Hamburg, from which he graduated in 1997. In 1997 he played a leading role in Lovers and Madnesses , a Shakespeare collage based on George Tabori , in the Hamburg cellar theater . He got his first television roles in 1995. Between 1996 and 1998 he was seen in a permanent role in the series Die Schule am See . From 1998 to 2000 he was also involved in the series Die Rettungsflieger . Further roles for various broadcasters followed.

In 2005 he became known for his portrayal of the antagonist Richard von Brahmberg in the television series Verliebt in Berlin .

After further artistic training in the fields of coaching (2004) and dubbing (2019), the acquisition of a radio broadcasting license in 2015, continuous stays in Great Britain, Köster also teaches young actors.
