Martin Kluge

Martin Kluge (* 1968 in Wolfenbüttel ) is a German actor .

Life

After graduating from high school at Georgianum Lingen, Martin Kluge studied acting at the Vienna Conservatory from 1990 to 1993 , which he graduated with distinction. He also received singing training there . Since 1990 he has had theater engagements at the Künstlerhaus Wien , the Landestheater Linz and the Theater am Kurfürstendamm in Berlin .

His career on German television began in the mid-1990s. Kluge took on several continuous series roles, recurring episode roles and guest roles.

Kluge has been in continuous series roles as, among other things, Carl von Ambusch, a community service provider in Stefanie For All Cases , as Dany Auberger in Die Aubergers and as Dr. Goetz Gerlach can be seen in St. Angela .

He also gained fame in the role of Liam Dougal in the ZDF multi-part series Our Farm in Ireland , where he played alongside Eva Habermann and Daniel Morgenroth . For ZDF he also played in the Rosamunde Pilcher film Wind over the Sea in 2007 .

Kluge also participated in some theater productions, including 1995 in the film Tangier - Legend of a city under the direction of Peter Goedel in 2000 and Papas , directed by Martin Gypkens for which it the Audience Award of the infernal Berlin received. He also starred in Jan Kerhardt's short film Nachtblende in 2003 . Kluge is also active on a voluntary basis, particularly through his work in the music project Unisono . He has lived in South Africa since 2008 and actively supports various orphanages.
