Daniel Morgenroth

Daniel Morgenroth (* 1964 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Live and act

After an initial apprenticeship as a theater carpenter, Daniel Morgenroth initially worked as a stage design assistant. From 1986 to 1990 he trained as an actor at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin and subsequently received an engagement at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin. Subsequently he gave, for example, the Templar in Lessing's Nathan the Wise , Count Wetter vom Strahl in Das Käthchen von Heilbronn von Kleist , the title roles in Peer Gynt ( Ibsen ) and Amphitryon (Kleist) and Achilles in Penthesilea (Kleist). In addition to his work as an actor, Daniel Morgenroth occasionally worked as a theater director and wrote his own texts.

Since the mid-1990s, the actor has been increasingly involved in film and television. He was often seen in television series such as The Old One , Siska , Our Farm in Ireland or Cruise to Happiness . He had several leading roles in Das Traumschiff before he became a member of the regular crew there in 2019 as staff captain Martin Grimm.

Daniel Morgenroth lives in Berlin.
