Christiane Leuchtmann (* 1960 in Munich ) is a German theater and television actress as well as radio play and audio book speaker .

biography

Christiane Leuchtmann was born as the daughter of the musicologist Horst Leuchtmann and the piano teacher Brita Angela Leuchtmann (née von Wentzel), where she received piano and ballet lessons at an early age. She attended the Rudolph Steiner School in Munich - Schwabing.

During her acting studies at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich (1979–1982), she played at the Münchner Kammerspiele and at the Theater der Jugend . During this time she also worked in TV series such as Die Knapp-Familie and Die Wiesingers . At Boy Gobert's request , she went to the Staatliche Schauspielbühnen Berlin after her final exam in 1982 , where she played major roles in the classical and modern until 1994. In 1990, Leuchtmann was awarded the Performing Arts Prize at the Academy of Arts (Berlin) by Walter Jens .

She played at the Theater am Turm , the Hamburger Kammerspiele , the Eurostudio der Komödie in the Bayerischer Hof , the St. Pauli Theater , Ernst-Deutsch-Theater and many other German theaters and worked with directors such as Thomas Langhoff , Ernst Wendt , Augusto Fernandes , Elke Lang , Jérôme Savary u. v. a. She was and is active as a speaker in numerous radio plays and audio books. She also wrote sketches as a screenwriter for the RTL series RTL Saturday Night .

Her other activities include numerous live readings, also with her husband, and singing evenings. She wrote sketches for RTL Saturday Night and also works as a screenwriter.

Leuchtmann has been a lecturer since 2009 and teaches acting at the School for Drama Hamburg .

She has been married to the actor Hans Peter Korff since 1992 and has a son with him.

Awards

In 1990, Leuchtmann was awarded the Performing Arts Prize at the Academy of Arts (Berlin) by Walter Jens . The jury members were Cornelia Froboess , Bernhard Minetti and Dieter Dorn .
