Stefan Lukschy (* 3. July 1948 in Berlin ) is a German director and film - and television - author .

Life

Stefan Lukschy is the son of the actor and director Wolfgang Lukschy and the painter, set designer and interior designer Viktoria von Schack. In addition to school, he studied piano and conducting. After graduating from high school, he began studying musicology , German , philosophy and journalism at the Free University of Berlin . In 1970 he studied at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb) . While he was still a student, Stefan Lukschy worked as an assistant director , editor and co-director for Loriot . He played a key role in the conception and creation of the television series Loriot and was editor of the DVD boxes Loriot - The Complete Television Edition (2007) and Loriot - and the Music (2010). He reported on the collaboration with Loriot, which resulted in a deep friendship, in the book Der Glück suggests no dogs , published in 2013 . A Loriot portrait. Lukschy worked in the film Möpse in Not by Rosa von Praunheim and Oliver Sechting in 2014 .

Stefan Lukschy has been working as a freelance writer and director for cinema and television since the late 1970s. He lives in Berlin and is a member of the German Film Academy and the German Academy for Television.

Stefan Lukschy is married and has two daughters.
