Heinrich Schafmeister (born March 2, 1957 in Essen ) is a German actor and presenter .

life and work

Schafmeister is the second of three children of the former President of the State Social Court in Schleswig-Holstein . He attended elementary school from 1963 to 1967, and then until 1973 the Albert Einstein Realschule in Essen. He then completed his Abitur at St. Pius Gymnasium Coesfeld and then studied German and music . He broke off his studies in 1980 to switch to the Folkwang University of Music and Performing Arts . There he was in the same class with Armin Rohde and Hansa Czypionka . After graduating, he played theater in Aachen for six years.

He made his cinema debut in 1984 in the film Hit , directed by Dominik Graf . Schafmeister also often appears in television series , for example as Didi Denkelmann in Die Camper , as Manfred Höch in Wilsberg or as Karl Wolkenfuß in How do I raise my parents? .
