Take a break - The High School Vampire Grusical is a German film parody from 2011, it was filmed in Prague in spring 2010. The film is part of the Funny Movie series .

Edwin Wolfenstein is a vampire, but a shame in the eyes of his father Vladimor, because he simply refuses to bite and kill. Instead, he likes to sing and chat with his lovely online friend Fella. His brother Günni is also anything but enthusiastic about him and usually just calls him "Uschi". But then vampire hunter Abraham van Hellbring storms the Transylvanian castle of the last three vampires and the Wolfensteins have to flee. Edwin knows where to go, to America to his fella. After a few problems getting used to in the neighborhood of “Hysteria Lane”, Edwin quickly discovered that Fella has nothing in common with the blonde beauty from the Internet. Instead, she is an ugly, gray mouse, the girl in the picture was the imaginary school beauty Sally Convally. But Edwin, too, has problems with his new classmates and takes on the schoolboy Cookie Dent straight away. A musical performance of Romeo and Juliet will take place at the school , in which Fella wants to participate with Edwin. However, Edwin only wants to win Sally over. When Fella realizes what Edwin is, she tries to blackmail him, but he finally throws himself at Sally's neck. In revenge, Fella emails van Hellbring.
Van Hellbring brings the Wolfensteins under his control, but then finds herself facing Fella and her mother. Edwin and Fella finally get closer and he tells her that it was his fault that his mother died and that Van Hellbring therefore wants to take revenge on him. They come together.
Sally has found out what Edwin is and wants to be bitten by him to never age. But he refuses. Nevertheless, he still wants to sing with her in the musical, which Sally cannot do at all. She convinces Günni to transform her. When the musical is performed, there is a showdown. Van Hellbring lets a Florian Silbereisen robot sing, the music of which causes pain for the vampires. Edwin can defeat him, but in the process he injures Fella, who was trapped inside the robot. He can only save her through his bite and has to overcome himself for the first time. She becomes a vampire and therefore pretty. Van Hellbring falls victim to the misunderstood milkman who turns out to be a vampire.
The whole of Hysteria Lane is turned into vampires and Fella and Edwin sing together. His father gets together with her mother and even Günni enjoys life in the suburbs.
