Play me the song and you'll be dead! is a German spaghetti western spoof from the year 2008. The movie belongs to Funny Movie series .
action
The two brothers Bobby-John-Joe and Billy-Bob-Earl St. John live with their alcoholic mother on a farm in the Wild West . Suddenly her missing father Jerry-Lee-Larry reappears. Twenty years ago he disappeared with his daughter Jill-Sarah-Mae-Jennifer. He claims Jill was kidnapped. But as it turns out, Pa is a wanted crook. Ma St. John sends her sons into town to have the sheriff pick him up. However, he arrests the brothers instead: their father has succeeded in accusing them of his own crimes and they end up in prison. Her grandfather, Al Oratio Fitzpatrick St. John, frees her, but only to hand her over to a friend of the County Marshall of Stinkyville and collect the bounty on the two. At the last minute, the two are freed by Jill cutting the ropes that were supposed to be used to hang Billy and Bobby with rifle shots.
Jill tells her brothers her version of the story: she wasn't kidnapped, but sold to a soccer team by her father. But Billy doesn't trust her and separates from Bobby and Jill. He joins the gang of Jesse James and ends up on the gallows again. This time Ma, Bobby and Jill rescue him together. Since the whole family is now wanted, the marshal, two deputies, Grandpa and Pa St. John, try to storm the farm. But since Pa takes his family's side, the attackers, with the exception of Grandpa, are overwhelmed. However, he reveals through a slip of the tongue that he planned the raids with his son.

"Efforted (television) attempt at an over-the-top western parody that exaggerates clichés and stereotypes of the genre into the grotesque."
