Siegfried Terpoorten

Siegfried "Sigi" Terpoorten (born September 15, 1971 in Munich ) is a German actor .

Life

After finishing school, Terpoorten trained as an electronics technician at Siemens . He completed his acting training at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Hamburg and at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich .

From 1996 to 1998 he was seen under the directorship of Frank Baumbauer at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg and went to the Schauspiel Basel with Stefan Bachmann . Terpoorten made his first cinematic attempts at the Filmstudium Hamburg under the direction of Hark Bohm . There he worked with Janek Rieke , Kilian Riedhof and Marcus Hägg, among others .

The general public is he from the ARD series 4 against Z known. On television, he was also seen in series such as Tatort , SOKO Leipzig and Ein Fall für Zwei , as well as Désirée Nosbusch's husband in the two-parter Eine Liebe in Saigon . He embodied feature film roles in, among others, Der Schuh des Manitu and Erkan and Stefan . In 2006/2007 he played the leading role of Chief Inspector Mark Brenner in the Sat.1 crime series Stadt, Land, Mord .

In 2010 he founded a film production company in Zurich and is working more closely with the Finn Marcus Hägg.

Siegfried Terpoorten is married to the actress Barbara Terpoorten-Maurer and has two children.
